Individual History--Caroline Krog (1828-1895)

From the Washington, Missouri newspaper:  Mrs. Caroline Krog, widow of Henry Krog, who died Jan. 21, 1895, was preparing breakfast Friday morning, April 5, 1895 when her clothes caught fire and she ran into the yard where neighbors put out the flames after she had been mortally wounded.  Physicians could not save her and she died in agony on the evening of the same day. Age 68. Burial Monday at the Odd Fellows Cemetery was largely attended and Charles F. Gallenkamp delivered the eulogy.

This is Wilhelmina's mother.  Wilhelmina was nine months pregnant with Otto Lewis and she saw this happen.
